Under Saudi Vision 2030, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company announced King Salman Gate—a transformative mixed-use destination beside AlMasjid AlHaram, enhancing access, comfort, and services for pilgrims and visitors.
Spanning up to 12 million sqm GFA with capacity for around 900,000 praying spaces and seamless public-transport connections, it honors Makkah’s identity by restoring approximately 19,000 sqm of heritage sites.
Developed by RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company (a PIF company), King Salman Gate contributes to Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, setting a new benchmark for access, comfort, and world-class city planning in the Holy City.
